Mike. Right on target!   ... this is just the typical way of doing 

things in America. Do it cheaply .. be it medical care, radiation 

protection, or manufacturing. Hire the cheapest labour force that 

they can get away with .. let customer service worry about it when 

the complaints come in, and let the numbers do the talking.. whereby, 

$$ are saved in quality and it's a balancing act between what it 

would cost to fix the problems. If they save more by putting out 

inferior products, then that is the path they follow.



Nothing different when it comes to radiation protection, and, hiring 

qualified staff.
