Plan to rename Livermore lab after `father of the H-bomb' fizzles

 

WASHINGTON (AP) - A Republican congressman's plan to rename Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory after the so-called father of the H-bomb -- Edward Teller -- has died after objections from lab management and the Democratic congresswoman who represents Livermore, officials said today.
