Re: TLD badge dose



A typical dose from a  checked bag x-ray unit in the USA is on the 

order of between 1.0 and 1.6 mSv. Therefore, what you have seen is 

quite consistent with the data that I have observed. The above is 

only true for CHECKED bags, and not for CARRY-ON x-ray units.
