Don, you are (not for the first time) twisting reality into something which

serves your opinion. I have not written this!!!!!

----------------------------------------------------------

[Mercado, Don] Why? It would cost as TON, and what would it gain? I don't

consider it any more embarrassing than using "miles per hour" than

"kilometers per hour."

What y o u consider embarrassing or not is not of the slightest

importance.

------------------------------------------------

Just keep your AEPC (Absurdly European Political Correctness) translator

handbook available and you won't embarrass yourself when dealing with a

superpower.

I do not understand, what is "absurdly European politically correct" when

using SI units which are used almost everywhere in the world except in one

of almost 200 states or probably a few other ones. US based scientific

journals, like "Health Physics" use since many years only SI units.

Your mentioning of a "superpower" is one of the most ridiculous comments I

ever have heard - is science dependend on a superpower? Look at the politics

of your country and your politicians. This is a superpower? Maybe regarding

military strength - is this all that counts? Almost everywhere in this world

there are other criteria for humanity and other ethical considerations.

Refrain from answering, I would ignore it.
