It has probably been noted (and here it is again) that soldiers of a modern 

battlefield are potentially exposed to many exotic agents that are also 

possible culprits for their ailments.  It would be as cold a calculus for the 

military to say the exposed soldiers' ailments are just psycho-somatic as it is for 

anti-nuclear activists to  blame potential  DU excposure - though they may both 

seem a tidy fit to their respective questioners,  they are  equally heartless 

in their predilection for an answer . It is important to not place the cart 

before the horse in the search for true answers to human health problems.
