Iodine is iodine. The biological response functions either in ICRP 53 or
MIRD Dose Estimate Report 5 (J Nucl Med 1975) give a nice description of
the biological half-times for all isotopes of iodine, at various levels
of thyroid uptake. Then, proper application of the physical half life
provides the effective clearance functions.
