Iodine is iodine. The biological response functions either in ICRP 53 or

MIRD Dose Estimate Report 5 (J Nucl Med 1975) give a nice description of

the biological half-times for all isotopes of iodine, at various levels

of thyroid uptake. Then, proper application of the physical half life

provides the effective clearance functions.
