Re: An HP Position is Open in Texas [License Reviewer, IndustrialLicens ing Program]
Wow. I had thought at one time to relocate to Austin, just because I
like the culture there. But this salary seems unusually low. I know that
pay is also commensurate with area cost of living, but the Austin area
is getting expensive. The lower range of this offered salary is what I
make now, but the COL where I am is relatively low, so then the salaries
are also less (Median annual income here is just under $18k according to
the 2000 census. No, not a typo.). Perhaps this may be related to lower
state appropriated funding for this position?
