I am gathering information on the methodology used by Nuclear Power Plants

(NPP) for material clearance.  While I can find all the regulations,

guidance available on the internet/NRC website, I have yet to find

information on what is actually performed: 

 

Radiation measurements/ smearing vs. frisking/ other monitoring/

instrumentation, etc.

 

Contact information at a NPP willing to help would also be useful.
