Re: Po&Pb vs. Ra&Rn activity in Water



I believe that the problem is that the decay products

have not "built up" in the samples.  I would suggest

looking up the term "secular equilbrium" in a standard

health physics or radiation safety text, such as

Cember "Introduction to Health Physics."



A similar problem was noted on page 6 (page 8 of the

13 pdf pages) at
