Arsenic, Radium, Radon, and Uranium
February 24-25, 2005

Abstract Submission Deadline: September 15, 2004.
This event will feature papers and workshops on Arsenic, Radium, Radon,
and Uranium – four naturally occurring elements that can pose problems
to municipal and private water wells.
NGWA [National Ground Water Association] invites you to take part in the
conference by submitting your abstract on one of the following topics:
* Arsenic and radium compliance
* Challenges for regulators
* Occurrence in private wells
* Geochemistry of arsenic, radium, radon, and uranium
* Point of use (POU) and point of entry (POE) treatment equipment
* Community system design options, capital, and operating costs
* Waste and discharge limitations in selecting treatment options
* Economic realities for compliance and financing options available
* Human health effects
* Dermal exposure issues
* Case studies
