Re: Revision of Atomic Energy Act - NRC to Regulate Accelerator Produced?



I have talked with friends at the NRC.  They are not

looking to get into this end of the business.  They

barely have the staff to deal with reactors and the

new issues involving homeland insecurity.  To make it

happen, it will require funding, and COngress is not

in a spending mood at this time.
