RadSafe Viruses

December 18, 2004

The RadSafe list is daily hit be messages containing viruses. I, for one,

receive many virus infected messages from various sources every day.

Anyone on RadSafe who does not have a good virus protection program that is

updated at least weekly, and who doesn't have a good spy program remover

program that is run weekly, can be virtually certain that their computer is

infected and may be the source of the daily computer viruses that we all

receive and may be sending out some private data to some computer hacker.

Also, if you have a fast net connection (DSL or cable) without a firewall

program or a physical firewall (like a router switch) you can be fairly

certain that hackers from all over the world have been trying to get access

to your computer and may already have.

Symantec Norton and McAfee anti-virus software both work very well. But it

is amazing how many people buy these products and fail to update the virus

codes every week.

For spy programs, Ad-Aware and Spy Bot are freely available on the web and

work well.
