Franz is exactly correct, both from a philosophical and mechanical point of view. Discussions about the war in Iraq have no place on this list, unless we are discussing aspects of nuclear weapons, depleted uranium, etc., something relevant to health physics. There are probably literally thousands of lists where you can go to discuss politics. It is good when people are stimulated by comments on the list to discuss off-topic items with others, but just do it off line, meaning, respond to the persons that you wish to involve, but do not include radsafe in the reply list.
