Fellow RadSafers,

Having many years experience in inspecting & disposing of radioactive
sources, I would urge caution in responding to these types of inquiries for
information on the design specifications and drawings for a sealed source for two
major reasons:

1. The NRC, under advisement of the Office Of Homeland Security, has
restricted access to the Sealed Source Design (SSD) directory which contains such
design drawings, to only those on a "need-to-know" basis. The purposes for
this are obvious and have been well advertised.

2. The use and intent that an individual has for such
specifications/drawings should be well investigated and confirmed prior to providing them. Unless
you can positively confirm their intent, purpose, and license authorization
for this, it is accomplished most effectively by referring them to their
State Radiation Control Officer or to the appropriate Regional NRC office who can
then provide the information to them.

P.S. The organization name of "OverWatch" also raised a red flag for me.

Just my thoughts and professional advice.
