MR. WHITMAN:  I think you have some numbers wrong.  OSHA's radiation
regulations were last revised in 1974 making them 31 years old if my
math is correct.  I'm not sure how old NRC regulations are but, as an
agreement state, I do know that they are under continual review and
revision.

The window to coordinate OSHA and NRC is finally present.

OSHA intends to jump ahead of NRC (10CFR20)and move to the future ICRP
standards because "the NRC standards are 27 years old".

Recommend as many organizations respond to OSHA to coordinate the
standards
for the first time in many decades. It is time for consistent and risk
based regulations.
