Associates In Medical Physics, LLC (AMP), a full service national diagnostic
imaging consulting group is searching for a qualified diagnostic radiology
imaging physicist. Direction for work assignments will be coordinated
through the Radiology Director in our Cleveland, Ohio office but the
location from which to service this new position may be negotiable.
Applicants should have a minimum of three years experience, an M.S. in
medical physics and be qualified under MQSA regulations to perform
mammography evaluations. Responsibilities include, working independently
with minimal direction, provide regulatory and technical consulting support
to medical diagnostic radiology clients including, establishing, directing,
performing and/or assisting with radiation safety, regulatory compliance,
annual and as needed diagnostic equipment performance evaluations
(radiographic, fluoroscopic, CT, mammography, MRI, etc.), ACR accreditation
support and other applicable medical physics related services, e.g.,
shielding evaluations, fetal dose calculations, etc. Travel is required.
The candidate must be a self-starter and demonstrate strong interpersonal
skills, knowledge, and expertise in he areas identified above. Excellent,
verbal and written skills is a must. Computer skills for word processing and
spreadsheets is required. Salary is commensurate with training and
experience.
