Re: Milton McLain's Request

At UCSF which has a Broad Scope License, the Radiation Safety Office
has developed a "Radiation Use Authorization" program to track isotope
inventory on hand, isotopes being received, users, dosimetry results,
instruments, use locations, audits, sealed sources (and leak test
results), wipe test results, billing information etc.

We have over 300 principal investigators who are given Authorization
to use RAM, 2000 users, and 3000 people who are issued dosimetry. We
find the program very helpful and easy to use for data retrieval.

If you are interested in the details of our program, feel free to
contact me at my email address <ehs%kenw@ccmail.ucsf.edu> or call me
     at (415) 476-0566.
