Midwest Interstate Low-Level Radioactive Waste Commission Invites You to Attend 
the Biomedical Mixed Waste Workshop

November 3-4, 1993

Marquette Hotel

Minneapolis, Minnesota

This workshop is sponsored by the Midwest Interstate Low-Level Radioactive Waste
Commission and the University of Minnesota

This workshop, presented by the National Low-Level Waste Management Program 
through the U.S. Department of Energy, will address topics pertinent to the 
biomedical research community in the Midwest Compact.

- Mixed Waste Characterization
- Innovative biomedicare mixed waste technologies
- New or emerging treatment technologies
- Update on RCRA regulations, mixed waste joint guidance, and other legislation
- How to avoid RCRA
- Delisting as a management option
- Packaging and transportation requirements for mixed waste.

Please bring your mixed waste questions and concerns to discuss with resource 
people and other participants.
