Re: compacting rad waste

We are looking into the purchase of a medical waste shredder.  Shredded
plastic should take up less space than compacted plastic.  The kind
of shredder than can deal with the stuff is at least as expensive as
a compactor.  We have seen prices from $17,000 to $80,000 for them.

I believe Columbia either has one or is getting one.  Anyone out
there with shredder experience?
