Re:       Northeast Regional Symposium

     On November 3 & 4, 1994, the New England Chapter of the HPS 
once again will sponsor the Northeast Regional Symposium in Health 
Physics.  Other chapters invited to participate are:  Baltimore-
Washington, Connecticut, Delaware Valley, Greater New York, New 
Jersey, North Eastern New York, Susquehanna Valley, Western New 
York, and Western Pennsylvania.  As before, it will be held at the 
Conference Center of the University of Massachusetts, Amhurst 
Campus, Amhurst, Mass., in the same ballroom which was used in 
1990.  This year's topic is Emerging Issues in Health Physics. 
Bill Mills, President-Elect of the National HPS, will be a speaker.

     This year we are sponsoring a poster session, on any health 
physics related subject, and open to all members of the
participating chapters.  It will be held on the evening of November 
3, in conjunction with the vendor's reception.  All those
interested in participating please contact Bob Scott through this
