Sharyn and All--I am not sure about other sites, but I know that BITNET is
going away as of Sept. 1, 1994, at Cornell. The BITNET network is
considered archaic and is being terminated as of that date. For example,
all or almost all BITNET addresses of the form:
SAFETY%UVMVM.BITNET@CORNELLC.cit.cornell.edu
are being changed to the standard Internet form:
SAFETY@UVMVM.UVM.EDU
Chances are that if you send something (anything?) to a BITNET address that
it will be bounced back to you. Check with your Cental Computer Services
to confirm this information if you have questions.
