Illinois LLRW Generators Meeting

----------------------------Original message----------------------------
Hello, Dale. I'm just back from vacation, have read through my e-mail and can
offer you a piece of information about another generator group. In NJ the New
Jersey Radioactive Materials Management Group (NJRMMG), which is a generators'
group of universities, utilities, biotech companies and pharmaceutical com-
panies primarily, has been in existence for a few years. The group meets every
2-3 months, sponsors occasional forums on issues such as interim storage, works
with the state siting board, provides feedback to the NJ Department of Environ-
mental Protection (which regulates NARM and machine radiation sources), and, in
general, probably attempts to do the sort of things you'd like an Illinois
group to do.

If you'd like more information about the organization of NJRMMG and how it
works, I'd suggest you contact either: Todd Forte (CIBA-GEIGY) @ (908)277-7588
or Marianne Kunz (GPU Nuclear Corp.) @ (609)971-4055. Todd is the chairman for
the organization and Marianne is the chair for the Communications Committee.
