RE: An identification problem



This may be a long shot, but I remember our waste technician asking me to
help her figure out what was left over in some pieces of a Tc-99m generator
that she had been decaying for disposal.  Using a Ge detector, and making
a lot of phone calls to the manufacturers, I determined that it still
contained Sb-125 and Rh-106.  They are somehow left over from the
manufacturing process.  I don't remember the size or shapes of the pieces,
but it may be something for you to look into.
