Re: Bone Densitometry Dosime
RE>Bone Densitometry Dosimetry 2/8/95
Dr. Kenneth Faulkner, Ph. D. et al in Radiology at the University of California
at San Francisco put together a poster session for dose from bone densitometry
at the International Conference on Osteoporosis in 1991. Also, MK Lewis et al
at Guy's Hospital in London did some studies on Hologic DEXA scanners for bone
densitometry. Sorry, I don't have phone numbers or Email addresses for either.
Hope this helps.

G'day Radsafers
Can anyone point me towards a good reference for calculating the dose
received by patients undergoing bone densitometry investigations using an
x-ray tube based bone densitometer?
