This conversation (as we drove by the tiny River Falls electrical plant), 
between my 10 yr old son and his sister's 
kindergarten friend reminded me of the importance of outreach education:

Kris: "Look, have you ever been in there?  There is a huge turbo-diesel 
generator in there that takes up the whole room..."

Charity: (Very sweetly) "No..."

Kris:(Very actual factual) "I've been in a nuclear power plant, do you know 
what nuclear power is?"

Charity: (Very sweetly) "No..."

Kris: "Well, do you know what a nuclear bomb is?"


Charity: (Very sweetly) "No..."

Kris:( "Don't they teach you anything in kindergarten?"
