     Paul,

According to ISO 8529, the specific source strength for 241AmBe is
6.6E-5 n/s/Bq. The specific neutron dose equivalent rate at 1 m is
2E-19 Sv/s/Bq. The specific photon dose equivalent rate at 1 m is
1.9E-19 Sv/s/Bq. The photon fluence and does equivalent rates depend
on whether the source has been wrapped in lead (and how much.)

ISO 8529, "Neutron reference radiations for calibrating
neutron-measuring devices used for radiation protection purposes and
for determining their response as a function of neutron energy."
     (available from ANSI)
