Boeing recently (1994) completed a comprehensive benchmarking study of
radiation safety organizations in the USA. They compared levels of
staffing, number of sources/users, education levels, etc. between and
among industry, government, universities, etc. The whole shebang. The
results were interesting and very enlightening. I suggest you contact
