Re: Mo-99m/Tc-99m

Marvin Goldman was asking about the availability of Tc-99m 
radiopharmaceuticals.

DOE recently accepted proposals for a National BioTracer Facility 
(NBTF).  I assume this request is to meet the need for producing 
pharmaceuticals within the borders of the US.  The NBTF would be a 
100 MeV Cyclotron and would produce a variety of radionuclides for 
research and patient care.

Five sites submitted proposals to DOE.  USC was one.
