Re: Radon occupational exposure

You may want to check out 30 CFR 57, Mine Safety and Health
Administration, and 10 CFR 835, Occupational Radiation Protection.

          Any help would be appreciated.

I understand OSHA limits occupational radon exposure to
either 30 pCi/L or 0.33 WL based on continuous exposure for
40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year [29CFR 1910.96(C)(1)].
Iowa OSHA apparently also requires an area to be posted as
an "Airborne Radioactive Area" if a worker receives 0.024
          WLM exposure in one week.

Does anyone know of a standard or recommendation that sets a
ceiling level for occupational radon exposure?
