Re: Proper Disposal of Uranyl Acetate

To be safe in the State of Virginia, disposed of as low-level radioactive waste.
This is classified as unimportant quantities by the NRC, however, the state of
Virginia prohibits any radioactive being disposed of in a conventional land
fill. I would conclude that the chemical properites would take precendent
rather than the source material..mike coogen sends

What is the preferred method of disposal of uranyl acetate/uranyl
nitrate? How are most of you handling its disposal?

Thanks in advance.
