NY Chapter Symposium-West Point, NY-Dose Reconstruction

To All Radsafers,

The Greater NY Chapter of the HPS is holding an all day symposium at the Hotel Thayer at the West Point Military Academy on Monday, 16 October 1995.  The Symposium is on DOSE RECONSTRUCTION AND HUMAN RADIATION STUDIES.  ABHP Continuing Education Credits have been applied for.  The speakers are:

	John Till,  "Dose Reconstruction"

	Tore Straume, "Biological Dosimetry"

	Richard Vetter, President of national HPS, "Health Physics at a Crossroads"

	Joseph Shonka, "Dose Reconstruction Experiments at INEL and ORR"

	2 members of the President's Commission on Human Radiation Experiments, "Legacies of the Human Radiation Experiments"

The speakers are all very good, the topic is timely, and the location is an ideal setting, especially with the Fall leaves turning.
