Isotope Licensing in Montana -Reply

John --

Montana is NOT an agreement state, but you might want to
touch base with the Occupational and Radiological Health
Bureau anyway ... they MIGHT have some jurisdiction. Your
contact there would be Mr. Adrian Howe at (406) 444-3671.

Radioactive Materials licenses for Montana are issued by the
Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) Region IV office in
Arlington, Texas. Probably the best contact would be Mr.
William Fishers, Chief, Nuclear Materials Licensing Branch.
His number is (817) 860-8215.

Can anyone let me know if Montana is an agreement state
and what steps can we take to expedite the licensing.
Your assistance will be appreciated.
