furloughs

I can't resist putting my two cents worth in regarding furloughs.

Mark Twain once said words to the effect:

	Consider your congress[person], and consider an idiot; but
	then I repeat myself.

Like many of his other observations, this one (unfortunately) 
remain true a century after written.
