Job # C 5-41694 [Rad. Safety technologist]
Maintain dosimetry device distribution system. Collect and maintain
exposure history
records. Prepare and coordinate reports;maintain computer data base.
Perform electronic and radioactive source calibrations of radiation
detecting equipment.
Take radioactive material orders; prepare associated paperwork and records.
Deliver radioactive material packages to the laboratory on an as needed
basis.
Related duties as assigned.
Requires: Ability to interact with a broad spectrum of individuals;computer
use;mathematics ability;able to use instrumentation and comprehend readouts;
able to stand for long periods of time and tranport instruments weighing
approximately 20 pounds. Good basic science and math concepts.
Bachelor's degree in science or related field OR Associates degree and 4
yrs exp.
OR equivalent exp in a related field or science area.
