That's what those hypersymbolic cooling towers are for. Plants must cool the
water to a site-specific temperature range before releasing it back to the
source (river, lake, etc.). Interesting during a heat wave when the river
temp is well above the allowed release temp, thus requiring nuclear plants
to become water-cooling systems.
