Re: Ultrasound testing



Please refer to the chapter on testing and QC of Ultrasound in Ultrasound
Physics and Instrumenatation  --  Third Edition  by Hedrick , Hykes and
Starchman.  It is excellent and should give you some guidance in testing US
equipment.  You are correct in the assumption that testing of US equipment
is pretty undefined...that is probably due to a general lack of
understanding as how US works and the benefits of QC and other testing of
the machines.

Give me a call if you have specific questions that I can help with....if I
can't give you an answer, I will direct you to someone who can.
