The postings by Eric Goldin and Jim Muckerheide contain useful and
interesting information which adds perspective to the LNT issue. It also
tends to support a conservative stance.

I may have missed it, but I don't think either posting referred to the rate of
DNA repair, and whether the DNA repair mechanisms in the cell are highly
of poorly affected by low levels of radiation. Does the Billen work describe
this ?
