You are invited to participate in Eco-Informa '96, 4-7 November 1996, at
Epcot Science and Technology. The conference will be held at Disney's
Yacht and Beach Club Convention Center in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, USA.

Solutions to complex ecosystem-related problems often require data from
various disciplines. Increased research and regulatory activities have
produced an abundance of information, yet data are frequently not readily
available. As a major international conference, Eco-Informa '96 will focus on
worldwide communications for environmental applications, and will address the
critical need to share information that promotes responsible decision-making
in environmental problem-solving. This comprehensive multi-disciplinary forum
will foster the interaction and exchange of global environmental technology
among scientific, governmental, and commercial communities. Concepts and
methods in data handling and management will be discussed in technical
sessions that will feature more than 300 oral, panel, and interactive poster
presentations and demonstrations by experts from over 30 countries.

You are invited to contribute a paper for oral or poster presentation at
the conference and for publication in the conference proceedings. Interested
contributors should submit a one-page, single-spaced summary of 250 words
on or before 1 April 1996. Please indicate preferred method of presentation
and specify the conference topic addressed.

You are also invited to submit proposal(s) to organize one or more oral
or panel sessions. Proposals should include the session title or theme;
name, address, and phone/fax numbers of session organizer and all
speakers; and a summary of each proposed presentation.

Notification of paper/proposal acceptance and an author's kit will be
mailed in May 1996. The conference proceedings will be distributed at the
meeting. Camera-ready papers will be due on 5 August 1996. Direct your
questions, summaries, and proposals by fax, e-mail, or postal service to:
