Although the article addresses power reactor process and
effluent liquids rather than U and Pu, a good discussion of
sample preservation is in the July 1980 HP Journal.  Authors
are Bernabee, Percival, and Martin, "Fractionation of
Radionuclides in Liquid Samples from Nuclear Facilities", pp
57-67.
