Lotus Notes db's for rad. saf.?

Radsafers, have any of you developed Notes databases for managing your 
inventories and user data?  Are you willing to share or describe?  Are 
there commercial items available?  Comments on the idea of a Notes 
implementation of such would also be interesting though it might not 
influence the IS powers-that-be.  Thanks
