Re: "Exit Signs" containing Tritium



          Tritium in exit signs.  Do we really need to worry about
          them?  I don't think so.  In one of the NCRP reports (I
          think it is the one on radiation exposure to the
          population), it lists, under the consumer products,
          radioluminous products (which include tritium exits signs)
          contribute about 0.001 mSv per year on average to the
          population.  And it is an low energy beta.  Unless you are
          hungry enough to eat the exit sign, I wouldn't worry about
          it.
