Filtration of Natural Radioactivity from Well Water

Could someone please inform me of the most reccommended technique for
filtration of natural radioactivity from drinking water (Ra, Rn, U, etc)??
We're interested in small-scale techniques such as would be used by
indiviuals drawing water out of a private well... not large-scale expensive
techniques.  Please send information to me directly.  Thank you in
