But it is _available_ and it is ONLY $75. (Does CRC even publish a book as
low as that?)

Coverage of necessary topics is, of course, an important consideration.

I am very glad to hear this, I think. Price???
My biggest problem in selecting a text for my course this fall in
radiation biology is that my students will be both health physics and
biology majors. It is further complicated in that some of the students
will undoubtedly be MS-level biologists.
Most of the "usual" texts are now out of print: Hendee, Coogen, Alpen, etc.
The two _textbooks_ I'm considering are Hall's 4th ed., and Tubiana, Dutreix
and Wambersie's "Intro to Radiobiology" published by Taylor & Francis. it is
paperback for $49. Any comments on it would be particularly appreciated.
Also, Books in Print lists a book entitled, "Radiation Biology" by
someone named Cember. The publisher is listed as Franklin Book Co. They
claim that the ISBN is CRC Press, that they (Franklin) now own the rights,
and that there are no plans to print. Any information available in
RADSAFE-land?
