The tritium targets in neutron generators (the old C-W deuterium accelerators)were a potential problem. No need for extensive dialogue here....just sharing some thoughts: back in the 60's we used to change our targets...and we had a clunky old tritium sniffer for monitoring but no bioassays were done. I would hope nowadays people are more careful.
