Update on NCRP Activities

       Charles B. Meinhold, President of the National Council on Radiation
Protection and Measurements (NCRP), will be the speaker at the Baltimore-
Washington Chapter of the Health Physics Society's annual affiliates meeting,
Tuesday, March 12, 1996.  The meeting will be at the Uniformed Services
University of the Health Sciences B building, located on the National Naval
Medical Center Campus, in Bethesda Maryland.  There will be an opportunity to
see information on the latest instrumentation and services available from
vendor affiliates.    President Meinhold will review current NCRP activities
and plans.  The social period, cash bar, snacks, and vendor table tops will
start at 6:00 p.m., the dinner will be at 7:30 p.m., and the speaker will be
at 8:30 p.m..  The dinner will be a variety of pizzas, with salad and soft
drinks.  The cost will be $13.50 payable at the door.  The cash bar will be
open during the dinner period.  Dinner reservations can be made by calling
