HazMat Toxmedic Course Offering (fwd)

>The Arizona Emergency Medicine Research Center,(AEMRC) is proud to offer
>again in 1996 a 3-day "Hazardous Materials Toxmedic Training Program" at
>the University of Arizona September 27-29, 1996.

>Toxic Substances and Disease Registry, Centers for Disease Control and 
>utilizes curriculum developed by Michael Vance, M.D., Associate Director, 
>Department of Medical Toxicology, Samaritan Regional Poison Center in

>This course will be of interest to paramedics, firefighters, nurses, 
>physicians, and other health care providers including waste management 
>and risk management personnel.

>National experts in Hazmat management will present the most current 
>information on incident evaluation, patient assesment and 
>decontamination, toxic inhalants, pesticide poisonings, caustic burns, and 
>antidotal therapy. The Arizona Emergency Medicine Research Center will 
>certify successful completion of the toxmedic course. CEU certification

>The cost of the course is $295 for physicians and $250 for non-physicians 
>if payment is received more than 30 days before the course; prices 
>increase to $360 and $300 respectively if payment is made less than 30 
>days before course.
