    Southern California Edison Company has some survey instruments and bag
    monitors that are being eliminated from our Health Physics Instrument
    Inventory.  These instruments are in good condition and operational.  They
    are being offered on RadSafe in the desire to possibly help other
    Radiological Protection Programs.

    The bag monitors were (Model ABM-1) manufactured by Hydro Nuclear Services.
    Hydro Nuclear Services is no longer in business, so technical and material
    support is limited to what Eberline has to offer.  This monitor is
    utilized at SONGS as the final monitoring phase of our Dry Active Waste
    Segregation and Volume Reduction Process.  The ABM-1 is a
    microprocessor-based (Eberline RM-22), Go/No-Go type radiation monitor with
    a Bicron 4" x 4" x 24" plastic scintillator.  The technical manual and some
    replacement parts will be included with the package.  Asking price is $5000
    for each monitor and the purchaser will be responsible for arranging for
    equipment pickup or shipment.

    Survey instruments available for purchase include:
    ~22 Eberline E-520 survey meters, asking price $120.00.
    ~30 Eberline PRM-6 count rate meters, asking price $150.00.
    ~12 Eberline RM-14 count rate meters, asking price $140.00.
