One piece of errata in the Langsdorf obit,  the 1982 commemoration
was of the fortieth anniversity of the first sustained nuclear chain
reaction (human controlled) at The University of Chicago and not the
bombing of Japan.

One interesting piece of history from that meeting was that although Edward
Teller was on campus giving an invited lecture, he was not invited to
participate in the 40th anniversary commemoration.  I do not know if this
was because he was not involved in the work done here or if it was because
of a more political nature.
