Ra in balances other than Mettler?

Thanks to John Harvey for the heads up and Mark Linsley for the specific
information on Mettler Balances.  Is anybody out there aware of other
balances that have similar problems.  I noted that the Mettler letter
indicated that the anti static rings were a commercial product, not a
custom or propriatary device. 
 
In my opinion any information should go to the Radsafe list but if anybody
would prefer to contact me directly, I'm at vernig.peter@forum.va.gov.
Most large VA's are affiliated with University Medical Centers and due
to the practice of P.I.s having dual appointments and grant funding, we
may well have some very old equipment like the  Mettler balances.
