Also, there is an X-ray shielding program entitled "NCRP 49" (or something
akin to that) which is available gratis from the RSIC at Oak Ridge.  As Kent
correctly points out, this (NCRP 49)is a "simple-minded" calculation and one
should be aware of its limitations.
